This notice explains how the website of Jeremy Broadbent handles your information.
When you get in touch
The contact form collects your name, email address, request type, and message so I can respond to your inquiry. Submissions are processed by the website and sent to my contact mailbox through an email provider. Please don’t include passwords, payment information, or other sensitive information in your message.
Security and technical data
The website uses your IP address to limit repeated form submissions. The rate limiter stores a keyed hash of that address rather than the address itself, with records expiring after 15 minutes. Contact-form application logs exclude your name, email address, message, IP address, and browser identification.
The hosting and email providers process technical information needed to operate their services. Their infrastructure logs may include IP addresses, request details, and delivery metadata, separately from the application logs.
Browser preferences and external content
Your theme and color preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage. You can remove them by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser settings.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and may load project images from external hosts. These requests disclose technical connection information, such as your IP address, to those providers. External links take you to websites with their own privacy practices.
Storage and requests about your information
Messages sent to my mailbox are not automatically deleted by this website. Mailbox and provider-log retention are managed separately from the short-lived rate-limit records.
You can contact me to ask about information you’ve provided, request a correction or deletion, or ask about retention. Use the email address associated with your inquiry where possible; don’t send identity documents unless a specific verification need has been explained.
